This is our Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) pennies at work. Olive street needed an intersection makeover, and SPLOST provided for that. Many of our County roads require much needed repair and maintenance, and without SPLOST, the County would be unable to successfully keep up all of the maintenance required throughout the County. Pennies go a long way in maintaining our roads.
