Solid Waste

The Liberty County Solid Waste Authority operates 7 convenience centers located in rural Liberty County. We also operate 3 recycling centers in Hinesville and 1 recycling center in Riceboro.

Solid Waste provides these services for businesses so that you can have a single point of contact for all of your waste needs:

• Commercial dumpsters to businesses, mobile home parks, and apartments
• Construction waste containers for business and residential customers
• Open top containers for construction and renovation waste
• Polycart and dry-trash pick-up for customers living within the City of Flemington and rural residents in the Riceboro area
• Recycling pick-up for businesses
• Bulk waste disposal at the transfer station

Hazardous Household Items

Hazardous household items (light bulbs, batteries, ink cartridges, motor oil, etc.) are collected quarterly at the Keep Liberty Beautiful Recycle It! Fair. Email Keep Liberty County Beautiful to receive recycling event announcements by email.
